1. Controller

Deutschland. E-mail: ju@breadcrumb-solutions.de.

2. In short

This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking services and loads nothing from third parties when you open it: fonts, images and the trailer video come from our own server.

We process personal data only in the two cases described below.

3. Server log files

On every request the web server automatically stores: IP address, date and time, requested address, referrer, browser and operating system (user agent) and the status code.

The purpose is running the website securely and reliably (debugging, fending off attacks). The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is exactly this purpose. Logs are deleted after 14 days at the latest.

4. Playtest and release notifications

If you enter your e-mail address in the form, we store the address, the chosen language and the time of sign-up and of confirmation.

We use double opt-in: you first receive an e-mail with a confirmation link. Only after you click it do we write to you — solely about playtests and the release of BACKWATT. Unconfirmed addresses are never mailed and are deleted.

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time — via the link in every e-mail or by simply e-mailing us. The address is then deleted; otherwise we keep it until the purpose no longer applies.

E-mails are sent through our own mail server or that of our host; nothing is passed on to third parties.

5. Links to other services

The website links to Steam (Valve Corporation) and possibly to social networks. Those pages open only when you click the link; their providers’ privacy policies apply there.

6. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) (Art. 21). You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)).

You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).

For any request, an e-mail to ju@breadcrumb-solutions.de is enough.
